This was my entry.

Nothing spectacular and scored right about where I expected. I was pleased to see no 1 or 2's cast upon it. Having a voter fav it made my week.

Sadly, just a few days ago a 25 yr old man jumped from the bridge over the gulch. We're talking over 300 ft free fall! He actually survived the initial fall, only to succumb to his injuries enroute to the hospital by ambulance.

Ugggg. Not a good story.

The pic is great though. I assume this is a well known area in AK but I think this is the first time I have seen a picture of it. Any chance you would let me play around with a small version of the original file? I see a lot of potential but at 720 pixels wide it's a little hard to know for sure. In particular, I'm wondering if a slightly different sharpening method would suit the image.
