Hello,
Does anyone know if any poppy fields in the UK? Preferably around the North West/Yorkshire or Edinburgh.

| Try Shropshire. They had loads last year. |

| Hampshire, Lincolnshire, Shropshire and Norfolk. They are grown in these counties as a crop and are usually Lilac or Pale pink. The red ones you are seeking are normally seen in wheat or barley fields as the crops are ripening. Once the fields are harvested, the Poppies are gone. However, check out stubble fields before ploughing starts and you should still see some on the headlands of the fields. It is getting a bit late in the year for them now, but the weather has been pretty good, so you might still find some. |

These where taken in Suffolk, further east than you want to go and you have missed the window for poppies. This was taken at the end/beginning of June.
