| title says it... lens hood snaps on, but is loose... it jiggles around... ???? |

I thought mine was the same when I bought it, but it needs just a final click. You think it is being forced, but it ain't:) |

hmmm... nope... the dots line up on it... (dot on lens lines up with dot on hood... hmmm anyone else have this problem???
i might have to go to Nikon and look into trying another hood on it... but i wanted to know if anyone else has this problem... |

Some are looser than others......it's not one of the better designs I've seen.
I have a couple lenses and the appropriate hoods.....some seem loose, but are still securely clicked into place, so I don't worry about them.
YMMV.....
