I see you folks might not have caught on, so I'll let you in on a little secret... no matter who clicks on the link, it goes to your own profile. |

It's done that since year dot! No matter how many times it's posted, someone always falls for it. With a little experience, you will learn not to click on the link:))

I guess that would effectively ban all self-portraits and repeated use of the same models.

Job done. |
Yep, NAT makes IP addresses within a network (even a home network) invisible to the outside. There are still ways to sniff out the bad actors though, even using the relatively crude IP address method. I'm not going any further than that, well, for obvious reasons.
Also, suffice to say that Kenskid very effectively hung himself, methinks. The SC eye had been on him for some time, and they would not have acted in that manner were they not *very* sure.

Fair enough!
So I guess that makes SEG and his comments regarding them being two completely different users an outright lie.
Poor old SEG. Just wondered what his thoughts were on this. :( |

lol Where should I start? I think it would be easier to take you to Breakfast back in Wisconsin and show you what you are missing here. I have found that the best thing for Breakfast here is a Steak and Cheese Pie which has become a favorite for Lunch also. emmmm. Could go for one now. Too Bad all the good pie shops are closed on Sunday Nights... :(

Can't do that.....there are just too many of us that do not, and/or will not use e-mail through our ISP.
My wife's email address has remained unchanged for about ten years 'cause she uses Yahoo.....I went the route of using ISP based e-mails and I've had probably a dozen.
I finally gave up at the end of 2008 and have a G-Maill addy that I will keep as long as they exist........having to change my address what amounted to about once a year is a pain....

Jeb said it right. Now and then I find a site that only accepts an ISP email address - I just keep moving. No site is worth the hassle of screwing around with a Verizon email account, IMO.

I understand completely. I use gmail and wouldn't consider using another email service. But, I do have an email address at my ISP. And, another at my website. And, another at Apple. All, other than gmail, are associated with a financial payment of some kind. So, even though I don't use those pay oriented email addresses much, they would firmly connect the address to only me. And, I would be willing to confidentially show DPChallenge that address at time of registration or subscription. (I would definitely want to use my gmail account for any and all communications.)
The concept of providing a "non-free" email address is not new, nor unprecedented. My bank, my online broker, one of my photo galleries and a few online forums have required an email address from a "non-free" email provider. They will not accept the free email addresses from gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc. The reason is for identity verification purposes.

I wouldn't even begin to know how to access my Comcast e-mail. I never set it up. I have a gmail account I use for all things related to my photography, geneology, internet dating sites, etc, and a Yahoo I use for personal/friend e-mails. |
