I wanted to make a commemorative photography book of sorts... What company would be the best for doing this?

You know the kind of book where each page is a picture, I can add text and it is bound like a hardback book...

Thanks!!

I've made a couple on Blurb and the print quality is top notch.

Thank you...

I looked at the website and it looks great. I think I may go through them...

Any other ideas from anyone?

I also used blurb. Happy with my first one, not quite as much with the second, but I think that's because they introduced tiers of quality that I didn't deal with on the first one. Hints - use the good paper! Beware of the "we may crop up to 1/4" on the edges" because they will; order one copy to begin with then more after you see if you've got it the way you want it. The software is pretty easy to work with. Get your layout the way you want it THEN go back and resize the pictures for the final version. Use 300 dpi and sRGB colorspace.

I've used blurb, MyPublisher and one other that I can't think of right now. I was really impressed with the quality of MyPublisher. Here's a link to the one I did. And they will give you a buy one get one free on your first one. link

eta: The other place was Shutterfly. It was also great quality and I got that one free for some reason I don't remember.

HI, I just made a book at smilebooks.com We took a vacation to Niagara Falls this summer and I wanted a nice memory book. You can basically create any book you want with this website, add text to your pictures, choose from different backgrounds, etc. They offer a discount coupon, use code ZA30 at check out. Lauren
