I've been playing with linking my twitter, flickr, and blogger accounts. What I want to achieve is the ability to post a photo in one place, and for it to be replicated in the others automatically. Ideally, I'd also love to be able to send/upload snapshots from my phone and have then blogged, tweeted, or added to a gallery.
So far my mobile solution involves emailing a photo to flickr, which is then posted to either blogger or twitter.
I'd be interested to hear what sorts of integration between these social networking / gallery sites people have come up with. Any wordpress solutions, or picasa web albums, for example? |

I've started looking at facebook lite now for blog/photo purposes. It's much cleaner than the original facebook, and gets rid of all that 'your friend wants to turn you into a zombie' rubbish.
Still, the more I look at these sites, the more I get confused about what photo or blog entry is getting posted to where. All too much... |

Could a Mobile Me account with Apple work? A Mac is not a precondition, btw. I ask because I do not know, but have read some things that make me wonder if it could. |

I had a mobile me account for the past year, but didn't get much use out of it. I saw it as not much more than a handy FTP server with some web front-end tools.
I've seen some DPC members have a facebook account, flickr account, a blog, a gallery on their own website, and twitter.
Seems to me quite awkward to upload photos to each of these places and keep everything in synch. For example, you might not want to post an entire gallery to twitter, but just one photo - but why upload it to twitpic when you've already got it sitting in flickr or on your blog? |

I think I've found something that'll do what I need: //ping.fm/networks/

No prob.
It appears to do what I want. I've made it so I can update my flickr, facebook, blogger, and twitter accounts all from ping.fm. Also I can post snaps from my cameraphone to a specific ping.fm email address, and the shot and comment gets posted automatically to all these places. |
