Hi
i want to shoot with MF 500mm lens from car window wildlife. What is the best support solution?

Maybe something like this, relatively inexpensive:
camera support
More sophisticated ones can cost hundreds...

I've seen (somewhere) a setup with a tripod head on the top and some clamps which affix it to a partially rolled-down window (4-6 inches sticking up).
Not the one I've seen before, but something like this might be worth a try. |

| Some guys use heavy beanbags like this - Bean Bags.. I have seen both homemade and purchased ones used. |

| Beanbags are the easiest. Just remember to turn the engine off :) |

Check out the NatureScapes.net store for wildlife shooting gear.
There's a beanbag that stradles the window and forms a cradle for the lens to rest in.

| Actually, it depends what kind of vehicle you're in. When we've been in Africa, I've had the room to use a monopod on the floor of the car, which I found a lot easier and more flexible than a beanbag. |
