can anyone explain what percentile is?

It's basically the percent of the images that your score is higher than. |

Or to put it a slightly meaner way:
Your pic is better than X% of the entries.
So ideally you want your pic to be better than 100% of the entries (IE. first). |

And it's useful when comparing across challenges. That is, finishing 34th out of 210 entries is not the same as finishing 34th out of 350 entries. |

Well I'm not so sure the PIX is better than... the SCORE is better than. Heck a lot of my pix are better than the ones scored higher! lol |
