| I hate to be the odd one out, but this has all the signs of an action pack to me. This looks like about 4 actions merged into one. It looks like a contrast boost, skin smoother (part of the reason I say that one is the necklace and its apparent sharpness differences in a vertical plane), a dodge action layer, and a smart sharpen. I think the shot probably looked quite nice coming out of the camera, but having started to use actions much more in my own work this seems to look like its had some action work done. |

Gotta agree here.....check out the sites by either  idnic or  dwterry for some truly lovely work.
There are many more, and different styles here as well..... LVicari...
Leo has a more outré style at his site; I really like it; and it shows what other kinds of things you can do with portraiture....
