So I'm having a weird AVI playback problem and I don't even know what to search for online, though I've tried.
When I play the file, I get visible small lines vertically that are dark, as though there's a separation between the various lines of pixels. Secondly, I'll get intermittent and alternating banding. I've taken two photos. The first is what it looks like during playback. The second is what it looks like if I pause it and slightly change the dimensions of the window... as soon as I make a change it looks normal, then if I start playing again, it gets back to the banded/split nonsense.
I'm using WMP but have tried a couple other programs; same thing. Any idea what's going on? I don't think the files are bad I just wonder if might need a codec or something? All suggestions GREATLY appreciated.
