Looking at my score, I can't help but think I entered the wrong shot. What do you think of these two:
Under the Pier
Duke's
Comments, please?

I think the first shot would have done well, perhaps quite well, but the second shot wouldn't have broken 5.2. How's the first shot in color? |

first one is very good. Would have done over 6 for sure. The second one probably would not have done as well; feels more like a tourist snap shot.

I agree with Jacko on the second one, the first I like very much, would like it even better as a sepia toned image, and with just a bit more contrast and sharpening.
I also think you'd have gotten a few "off center" comments on it, as it's shot slightly out of line with the pier columns.

First one would have done alright, the second one is too busy for the centered challenge...I might not have looked center if it wasn't for your title. I'm thinkin that the Duke's is a quite a bit better than Tourist Snapshot, Maybe postcardish if cropped right. |

I agree with everyone above, so at least we are consistent on this one.

I think your 'under the pier' would be a great fit for the 'unusual viewpoint' challenge. |
