Hi guys! I'm placing an order for a client. it's $120 worth of prints from 5x7 to 16x24.
I've already decided to go with the metallic paper, and am considering the lustre coating.
But then I signed up for MPIX pro... I have to wait to find out if I'm approved (no reason not to be), then see the test prints before I can actually place my order.
If I go with mpix I can have them to my client by next Friday...
Is it worth it to wait for Mpix pro??
Are the prices that different? The paper and printing is the same isn't it?
(p.s. I'm REALLY excited to see my work on a 16x24 print!) |

I'm on mpix pro. Have already reported several bugs with their ROES software, but not major ones.
Prices are the same. More products and $4 Fedex delivery (free for orders over $100).
Just placed $1000 order for a show in a New York Gallery next Thursday. |

MpixPro looks very interesting, especially the aluminum prints. But I'm not interested in having to install their software on my computer, which is enough to be a deal killer for me.

Who are you using now? All the pro labs I use are using the ROES system. Its just a simple java application. |

Really? From their description, it sounded like more than that. Java is one thing, but I know that at one time Mpix was kinda' pushing their design software - I thought this was the same thing.
