My entry for the centered challenge is currently at 4.3 and way below my anticipated score. When I viewed the image at work I understood why. I (stupidly) did a little cloning before final submission that looked fine on my pc but at work you can clearly see where I had been 'playing' and most of the 14 comments so far are about the cloning.
My home pc currently has brightness and contrast turned up full and i'm using the sRGB Colour space Profile. anybody got pointers as to how I can improve the images on my monitor to more truley reflect what you guys see?

Thanks Frank, I don't consider myself IT iliterate (IT pays my bills) but I'm totally lost with the monitor problem. I'm thinking along the lines of if I see a picture that looks perfectly exposed on my monitor, it must be overexposed on monitors that show my images to be lighter than I see them - if you know what I mean.
Am really looking forward to posting my 'original' centered challenge entry here just to see if peeps would give it an extra mark (or two) than the one I entered (a moral victory for me)
