The photo I entered I expected a few people to get and like, and most to either go, "Huh?" or "Ummm.. whatever." :) That's exactly what it seems to be doing, so I'm unsurprised, if disappointed. It held on to an above-6 rating for quite awhile before diving into low 5 territory.
At least, with a bit of luck, this one will stay over 5.. I'm sick of 4s ;) I thought this was one of the better ideas that I saw, if not the best executed, and I don't think it deserves the beating it's getting. I do have 5 nice comments though, and no criticism... which baffles me, since my score's still falling.
But I am also frankly surprised at the scores spoken of here. I rated pretty highly this challenge, despite some of the yuckier photos... go figure. I don't seem to see eye to eye with the masses very often. |
