Thanks peter! And lovely new model, love the huge ears :-) And of course Lily and Druli are part-Siamese from way back when as they too have pointed markings.
*running off to upload new impossibly cute pic*

Help I'm going to Galveston for Christmas, would someone take a look at the lenses I have and give me a idea of which ones I should take with me. We will be doing outside nature stuff and museums. As you all know I need help. Also Merry Christmas to all. |

Boring tourist shots posted to the Berlin get-together thread. More perhaps later as I get them edited. |

And the 10-22. You really only need those two. :-) (Lensbaby is nice to have and easy to carry because it's light...) |

As some of you know our son Isaac has been filming a new television series called Dino Dan for TVO in Canada and Nickelodeon in the US and Australia.
Last month I posted the release of the trailer and the response was fantastic from the good people here at DPC well today I have the pleasure to post the first episode for all of
you to see. All the episodes are about 15 minutes in length. TVO is starting to run Dino Dan in January 2010 in Canada but Nickelodeon will be releasing Dino Dan in May 2010
or so we were told. I hope your children enjoy this show as there is nothing else like it on TV for children and it's a lot of fun to watch. Our son's character's name is Cory.
All the kids in the show are wonderful and such great people, I look forward to all the fantastic things these young actors will achieve in their careers.
Episode one Dino Dan
Thank you for looking.

Wow that seems like great special effects for a kid's show! I've seen the main boy before in a commercial where he is very small and wears a backpack. And congratulations to your son!
I got a 50mm 1.8 II for Christmas from my girlfriend, OMG it's so awesome! I love it! I took a bunch of pics using it but I'm using them in challenges potentially so I'll have to wait to show you all and see what you think. |

I have the Nikon version of that lens, and you can definitely get really cool shots with it. Have fun with it! And glad to hear your girlfriend supports yout photography too :-) |

Yep. That's the message I get when I try the link here in Germany. I'm sure it's an excellent show, though! |

Slowly we take over, step by step :)
I have said it before and I'll say it again, I think it has everything to do with the fact that we support each other so much and that goes a long way to developing the necessary skills to step outside our comfort zones and try new and exciting things with our photography.
I for one am thankful to belong to Team Suck and have all that support and also help out whenever and however I can.
We ROCK this place and only GREAT things will continue to happen to us SUCKERS.
All the best to everyone in this holiday season and remember to photograph responsibly you could have GREAT black mail shots on your card and you could use the money to get new camera gear :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLIDAYS and a JOYOUS NEW YEAR to all.
