Very important question - does the idiot in the other car have insurance?
12/12/2009 07:21:59 PM · #1452
Sorry if you've already answered, snaffly, but were you hurt? And what did the other guy do, shoot a red or similar?
12/12/2009 11:22:33 PM · #1453
I just put together a bunk bed for my five year old, and I feel like I've been through a car wreck. Actually, I was rear ended once, and it hurt me less than this bed. I'm getting too old for this..

Because you're under 25. You can't rent a car if you're under 25, ergo, you don't get a rental.

Technically, it's their insurance company that's renting it, but hey......we're not talking logic when it comes to insurance regs.

One of those weird insurance things.

Not all rental companies do that - I know I was able to rent a car when I was 20 without any problem - didn't need anything more than the licence and credit card that an over-25 person would have needed.

Don't forget, Katherine is in the States, and we're in Canada. There must be some way a teen or their insurance company can rent a car.

I think you would be surprised to find that here in the US the under-25 no-rental thing is standard.

It's one of those weird quirks that they get away with because of the risk versus profit things because of the demographics. Since it's statistically proven that's the highest risk category of drivers, they can opt to not rent to them.

Apparently I have not entered a challenge in December. Hmmm. Perhaps I've lost my nerve? So, should I do the Urban Decay thing? I did shoot for it.... And if so, do I go with A or B?
12/13/2009 03:40:44 PM · #1471
B
12/13/2009 03:42:27 PM · #1472
Yeah, I'm leaning toward B. A tad busier than A, but in a "more to see" kinda way.... Thanks!
