Well, as long as we're fantasizing, can someone send me a 5'4" brunette ... ?

Why only 5'4? something wrong with oh say 5'10? ;-)

Nothing wrong with 5'10", nor blonde or auburn either, but we were talking fantasies, not practical realities. :-)

Random stuff. The first one is a DPC'er most of you probably don't know - she's kinda quiet but she's in REALLY good shape and wore me out today with a very nice long bike ride. Notes are included on the photographs.

And yes, hajeka, there's always room for another sucker! Just send a note off to Posthumous with your desire to join the good fight and he'll give you a mission.

Say what?

There was a steamhammer named Bright
Who could travel much faster than light:
He departed one day
In a relative way
And returned on the previous night!

Well, I don't know if I'll make my personal worst in hidden treasure, or not! I just got an 8 & a 9, and now I'm at 2nd personal worst territory. Maybe I'll get scrubbed down. As long as it's lousy, I might as well go for a personal record!

Did Melethia change her user name? Or are you just channeling her? ;)

Yo my family of suck, I thought you'd all get a kick of out this, one of the best anti-hate stories I've ever read.

That is too funny! I wish we could solve all the worlds problems with humor.

I have no update button this week. :( I just can't seem to get inspired to take pictures when I know they're going to get a 4.5.

I was inspired. I thought it met the challenge well! It's scoring a 4.6. BAH!!!!!!

Oh, and despite Jeffrey's admonishment, I hereby grant any and all of us the right to cease and desist with the challenge crap. I REALLY need to do that. But I'm playing in that stupid golf tournament. For most, the tournament/side things really inspire them - for me, I suck, but not in a good way. I know better than to enter them, too.

Anyway. Bah.

Man, people were nasty during last night's voting. Jesse dropped from a 5.333 to a 4.8. I like his shot quite a bit--I don't think it's a sub 5 photo, either.

I ended up at 4.8 in hidden treasure and now 5.2 in this one. I knew it was all September, it was such a nice month :P

I ordered a 10-22mm lens and it comes today!!! Yippee!! Now I have to figure out how to use it. I'm so used to zooming in close on everything. (probably because my eyes aren't that great). I use my 100mm and my 100-400L almost exclusively and only switch to a shorter lens if absolutely necessary. I'm really looking forward to branching out! The first thing I'm going to do is one of Melethia's world thingys!

I think my inspiration problem could be the places I've been hanging out lately. The dentist, the OB (with my daughter), the hospital. LOL! We were going to go to Fright Fest last weekend, but my son got sick (plus I wasn't really supposed to be walking that much again yet). I just can't seem to get anywhere fun lately.

Maybe I am channeling you mine is sitting at 4.6 also and it mets the challenge. Maybe it's cause these ideas are coming out of my head, maybe I need to go back to nature. Lots of maybes there :~)

Wendy - you are going to love that lens!
I haven't got any photos in challenges at the moment, although if the light improves at all for the weekend I will try and get one in for one of the current open challenges.

Certainly not complaining and hope it stays strong! Been ages since I had a really good finish, and would love to bump that lantern off my homepage.

It's been mentioned in the scoring thread; several have gotten same comment. The individual may have English as a second language? It's pretty easy to read that as "no people" if your command of the language is sketchy... "Needs to not be human..." is how it may read to some...
