The forums on this site are great. What a great bunch of people and a great community as a whole.

As I find myself checking these forums often during the day, I have come to think that the summary table on the home page does not provide sufficient information.

Thinking about how to improve it, I see that the format of the message listing in the forums is much better.

This shows just what I need:
1) The originator of the post
2) The number of replies
3) The number of views
4) The last poster and time
and one additional entry:
5) The forum it was posted to

The last item is needed because this list crosses forums. By the way, #5 could be inserted between 3 and 4, or just about anywhere else.

Don't you think that's much more informative than the current view on the "my home" page?

If some like the other format, how about giving us a choice in our preferences as to which format to see?

You get all that info when you click on Forums under Community in the top menu nav. I think having all that info on the front page would look very cluttered, esp considering the table width format.

Just one thing I noted, if you place a message under the DPC Prints it doesn't go on the " Community " list when it goes off the main page ?

typo edit

It does already have the forum it was posted into.

Yes, I know. I was showing what the combined set would include.
