Heh. That's cute! :-) I still didn't find where you guys are seeing that image on woot.com ... My order is shipping via FedEx. Still...even if the icon on the SmartPost signifies the speed of the delivery, it doesn't justify the 8 day turnaround from order to getting it actually shipped. That's internal and has nothing to do with any shipping method.
Oh well. I'm starting to sound testy and I'm really not that bent over it. Mostly an observation of woot's business procedure & policies. |

Sometimes they have shipped my order the next day, other times it takes a week till I get a shipping notification. Being across town, I usually get the e-mail that it shipped the day after the package arrives.
Besides, if you read their site enough, you will find a lot of truth in advertising from them. I'm ok with it. |

so,  Yo_Spiff, since you live so close if you ever buy a huge tv from them you can just bring truck down the street and pick it up. that's pretty sweet.
can you go over there and ask them to have a wootoff soon? it's been awhile. |

My wife has asked and they do not allow local pickups. I work even closer. I could run over there on my lunch break to save shipping if they would let me. I do have to pay state sales tax however, so that's the downside to being local.
There was a mid-week Wootoff about 3 weeks ago, I think. I believe the Wootoffs are held when that have a large selection of junk left over, but not enough to use it as a regular Woot. Of course, they never run out of Roomba's and Sandisk media players. |

That's the truth! :-) I did run across some very forthright info that made me LOL. I like their sense of humor for sure! |

Well, it's not Woot and it's not a 2-pak (well it is, but not 2 kits!!) and it's not $10, but it's $15.99 if anyone cares. :)
Build-a-fort Camo kit AND they also have it in Pink camo....hubba hubba... |
