Sent you a copy of my booking form, terms & conditions and an assistant release form. That should be enough to get you started.

Be careful with anything you find online or someone says is "good".
Different states have different rules about contract language and one mistake can render a contract that's valid in one state, completely invalid in another or can cause it to not work the way you expect.
For example, in some states, a non-refundable deposit is illegal since the law states that ALL deposits are 100% refundable to have a non-refundable deposit, you need to call it a retainer. If you call it a non-refundable deposit and the bride bails on you at the last minute, she can legally get her entire deposit back despite the "non-refundable" verbiage in your contract.
You can use one as a starting point, but, if you're serious, have a lawyer take a look at whatever documents you use. They can save you some major headaches down the road.

We was advised to call it a `booking fee` over here, but the same applies regarding the deposit. |

I've also been preparing to write up a few contracts for portraiture and wedding photography, if you wouldn't mind, could you send that my way as well? |

There is a solid book of contracts and forms for photographers, comes iwth a cd of all the forms you would even need pretty much in pdf/.doc format. Worth the $30 to pick it up and the $50 to get a lawyer to scan over some of them. |
