Just to add (sorry, no photoshop Tom Foolery from me I'm afraid) I found the shot on National Geo ( //ngm.nationalgeographic.com/your-shot/daily-dozen?startgallery=116&image=9 )

Now back to the Photoshopped photocrashers. :)

Even photo crashers need guardian angels...

The Guardian sums it up nicely here

Originally posted by article:

Once the squirrel masters Photoshop ΓΆ€“ tricky with those little paws ΓΆ€“ he'll get the two annoying blurry humans out of the background of his beautiful holiday snap.

He persuaded them to set up their camera by Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park, and as he heard the motor of the timer whirring, adopted the position ΓΆ€“ beautifully centred, alert yet relaxed, perfectly in focus, unlike his amateurish assistants.

....

Apart from the kind of tedious discussion on various blog sites of focal depth and remote control shutter releases which causes any squirrel with sense to tune out and go and see a man about some nuts, the hero of Lake Minnewanka has sparked a rash of tribute images.

And check out the tribute images! :)

Some of those are really pretty good. Too bad you have to wade through the lot to find them.

I could but my A.D.D. caused me to lose interest. And it's a half hour past my bedtime. ;-)

Here's the layered PSD file with animation frames if anyone wants to play (18MB zip)

I think this needs the 'Benny Hill' theme tune (Yackety Sax?) to finish it off.

Just what are people who don't know (and supposing that everything else is self-explanatory) going to make of The Cheeseman?

p.s. that gif animation is soooo mesmerising.

I want to thank you guys. It's been a little tense in the forums lately and this silliness is just what we needed (or at least I did). And, of course, a special Loony Award to Art, whose comic and graphic-arts genius inspire and entertain us endlessly :)
