Bollards
Definition.

Ha, I thought you said bollocks. Bollards would be cool - but your example photo makes me think of a somewhat different topic that may be suitable for a challenge: Decoy(s) (leaving challenge description open) |

LOL, it's not time for a bollocks challenge yet. But I like your idea of decoy(s). Of any type. This could be a very creative challenge. I haven't checked to see if this has been done yet. |

About the only thing exciting around here about bollards, is when someone hits one..
Edit to add. Around here we bury 6" diameter heavy gauge steal pipe in a 2' by 2' by 3' deep footing, then fill the pipe with concrete.

Wow. I hope they're not near high speed roadways!!!!
My neighbor and family are stone masons and he built what could only be described as a massive edifice on the side of the road for his mailbox to fit in. It had 3 6 inch steel pipes inside concrete blocks with a beautiful stone veneer. It took the highway department a year to find it and tell him it wouldn't go on the highway we live on. I don't think a tank could have rolled it over. |
