dpchallenge is unusable in Mozilla. I can't put it any differently. It just plain sucks! :(
Galeon (mozilla based) seems to be working fine though, very strange.

I've been using mozilla (windows and linux) and other gecko-based browsers on DPC2 for the last two months, with no problems (bar a small niggle of the horizontal scrollbar always on). Try manually clearing your cache, see if that helps. If not, you may need to rebuild your profile with the latest moz release.

DPC has been extensivly tested and does work absolutly fine in Mozilla, and all the other commonly used browsers.

Hmm.... I don't get it. This is how I see dpchallenge forums:

I have to take a better look at this.
Sorry guys, I didn't mean to flame you for your hard work, dpchallenge looks great and very professonal! Good work!

I'm running Mozilla 1.1, and it looks exactly the same as it does in IE6.
Do you still have an old beta?

Working fine in Phoenix here.
I'm guessing it's simply your cache (if you haven't used Galeon to access dpc for a while it wouldn't have the old site cached, which would explain why it works).
I had similar problems at first (black on black text, graphics out of place, no menu) but they all sorted themselves out with a few forced refreshes.
Update: Just seen your screenshot while previewing this post, this is exactly what I saw.
Try a few CTRL-F5's and if that doesn't work, empty out your cache

Yup, definitely a cache issue. What's happened is your moz build has still got the old dpc1 CSS cached, so you'll need to dump your cache (manually delete the contents of the dir if needed) and restart moz, which should resolve the issue.

Thank you... It looks correct now. Only the frontpage still has that vertical line from the old looks. I guess it is time to flush my caches. :) |
