Here's the link, it gets by my virus protection system, so I'm not afraid of that.
The offer is for $30 as opposed to a normal $300. Does anyone have experience of these people, or advice?
Thanks. |

Don't go there. Here's why:
I've been using Canvas since 1995 (see here). Canvas X was released in 2005 and was the last version for Mac (unless you count an unofficial build 926 which ACD later offered Canvas users incensed with the decision to kill off the Mac version). 926 has no discernible differences from 925.
Canvas 11 was released for Windows only, but even that was a couple of years ago. An 11.01 (IIRC) updater was recently released after a long period of inactivity. Bottom line, ACD no longer sells a Mac version of Canvas and I am not aware of anyone else selling it on their behalf.
So this vendor is selling obsolete software (which is not to say it's useless; I still use Canvas X to create my ezines and web graphics, along with Photoshop).
Despite the "great deal" I'd be hesitant to send any such "OEM software' site my credit card #!
