Proplems with PS, Language - DPChallenge Forums

I cant get my ps in english???
I live in Germany and everytime i install ps it comes in german.
I got the programm from iceland and there it came sraight in english, but here it always comes in German...
What can I do?
The Language settings in the install is only for the setup and makes no diffrent. I got my XP in english but the computer is bought here in Germany.
Help would be great...

Prob a silly question but have you changed all the 'Regional Settings' in control panel?

It does sound like the regional settings are set for germany (look in control panel).

Did you buy a German-language version? It doesn't make a difference what operating system you use if the software is different. (Except for some compatability issues.)

I've got the Japanese one, but they did tell me that the English version would work on my Japanese system.

The regional settings are set in english and the ps is english but still it comes in german. It's realy weird...

There seem to be a few reports of the language being changed when the wrong language update is used (provided you have a version that has updates to apply). If that does not help, I am out of ideas. :(

Sounds like you have a German language version of it. You might get away with taking it back to the shop/reseller whatever and explaining, but I wouldn't hold out much hope.

Or get in touch with Adobe, they may be able to help you out and let you download something ... just don't expect it to be quick, is all.
