MeridianPro

I have seen the ads over and over in magazines and recently checked out their website and it looked good enough to try a client's order. I put the order in last night. There isn't any neat web portal to view the status of your order but it uses ROES and then I got the email saying it came through and is on it's way to processing.

They have very good prices. ie. $1.39 for and 8x10, 4x6 at $0.29, and 11x14 for $3.99. I didn't notice anything to be higher that other places.

Each image is color corrected. At BayPhoto the same 8x10 is almost 3 times as much. I am having trouble getting the brightness of the image correct so I am using the color correction for that. I think it looks good, then I get the print back and it's dark. My biggest complaint about these places charging double for color correction is that if you order more that one copy, you pay for the color correction over and over. Then I wonder is "Color Correction" at labs is just a Photoshop action that does an Auto Levels, Auto Color.

The shipping is more expensive ($5.95 for GROUND and $12 for 2nd day) but when your order is of a decent size the savings overtake the extra shipping quickly.

Does anyone use them? like them? dislike them? I can't seem to find any reviews for their services, positive or negative. I ran my last years lab bills through their prices and figured I would have made an extra $1500, and I am a small time operator.

EDIT FOR BUMP.

I've never used MeridianPro but will provide an opinion re:color correction. Either let them do it all or do it all yourself. If you only want the brightness corrected you may have to provide special instructions.
