I like the colors reflected in the windows and the lower sky. The upper sky has great rays, but the overexposed areas are dominating. If you had bracketed your exposure (and used a camera brace to minimze movement) you could have gotten around this by combining these multiple exposures.

I think the building has a nice top shape. However, it gives the impression of leaning (it's only a matter of rotational or perspective adjustment to fix this.)

Bob,

It has a nice feel - good colors, but parts of the sky are a bit hot.

Since you knew you were after a silhouette - try underexposing or bracketing on the "under" side by up to 2 stops. The building will still be a silhouette, but the colors in the sky will become more saturated and vibrant.

Composition is good - reflections on the glass very nice.

I agree with the comments on the "hot" sky and to use bracketing to get the exposure you want... plus: There is too much of the building. The long, straight, featureless part on the left is just a waste of the frame in my opinion. I would have zoomed in a little more on the upper part and also left out the right side maybe.

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions, all of them are helpful. Unfortunetly I didnt have tripod or anything else to brace my camera with me, this was actually taken from the window of my car in the parking lot, just wanted to get off a quick shot of a great sky.

Here are a couple sunset shots I took on the 17th too. The second is not a good silhouette, but shows the sunset in all it's glory about 20 minutes later. I liked the sunstreaks and highlighted them, but probably overdid it. :)
