How can I fix the Adobe Photoshop so I wouldn't endup YELLOW images when I save them. Is IrfanView better program than Photoshop because it shows the raw images better color?
I think I fixed this stupid error once but don't remember how :( |

| Is there some auto adjustment turned on by accident? Or some action that is set to run on save? |

Since I am not a "guru" using Photoshop, someone please kick me and yell at me "What the hell is this settings all about" or something... because me don't like the outcome of the Photoshop right now :( |

Why ColorMatch RGB for your working space?
If loading from Lightroom, I'd suggest ProPhotoRGB.
If not, use AdobeRGB 1998. If all your work is for the web then you could use sRGB as your working space. |

If you know nothing about color management, then use sRGB. Set Photoshop to "Convert to Working Space" when there is a profile mismatch. Also, be sure that View>Proof Colors is *not* checked.
Color management is not an easy concept to master, and unless you really understand why you need to do it, then you don't need to do it. Yes, there are wider gamut spaces available, but nearly all monitors are not even capable of displaying all of the sRGB space, and most printers' gamuts are within this space as well. |

Uhm... the thing is, I can basically see everything nice and colorful, from other imaging programs. I compare same images loaded with PS and others, PS is loading yellowish color and saving even worse. Here is what I do to enter challenges, I show the image in PS after I am done editing(!), then do a screen-capture, past into IrfanView and save the image from there after I crop it. More process for me, but works very nicely.
I had this same problem before, I did something with color management thing, I don't remember, maybe I should search for it, it might be hidden here in forums somewhere... Killing me Adobe or anyone else thinks "their ways" is the best way. I just don't get it.

I think it had its defaults to start with... It seems I am the only one having this issue, from the defaults :(
I doublecheck it though. |

| I think I have the same problem - I edit an image to look perfect but when I upload to web it looks dull and sickly. I have my camera set to sRGB and my colorspace set to sRGB...but it doesn't matter. Once I upload to the web it stinks. I try to use "proof colors" to see what it will look like on the web...and then try to edit more to make it look like I want...but I can never get it quite right. I have often done the whole copy to InfranView crop and save....it makes the picture lose even more sharpness so I hate doing that. |

I would appriciate if someone saved a color settings, so maybe I can load that to see if things will be better? it's CS3.
It's not the end of the world, but how come IrfanView opens-up an image (raw image most of the case) better than GIANT(!) PS? |
