Have you ever asked for a Critique Club critique and never received one? I know I have. Apparently the bucket of requests gets binned at rollover and I think its both the Sunday and Tuesday rollover (I was halfway through a critique last Tuesday and it had gone on Wednesday) so if members of the Critique club are not on the ball after a week you won't get one.
I'm not wanting to do this alone but if you asked for a critique, didn't get one and still want one then post your image here and maybe peeps will go and critique your image rather than just comment on it? |

Then I'll go first. I'm pretty sure I wanted critique on this one, so here I'm asking for it again. Additional comments and critiques are very much welcome. Thanks!
Edited to add the darn picture... I got many comments, but I want more!

When I was a young DPCer, I asked for critiques all the time and never once got one. So I stopped asking.

I tried to join teh Critique club, I said I could do it on a trail run to see if I had it in me: here is the reply"
Hi there,
The Critique Club is a (currently small) group of volunteer users and members who write in-depth critiques of challenge entries once a challenge has finished. The idea is to give each submitter who requests it a more detailed view on their submission, giving more information about the technical and artistic aspects of the entry than a normal comment would give, ideally helping the photographer to create better photos in the future. All users and members are entitled to request a critique from the club, and don't have to be club members themselves to do so. You can find out more information about what the CC does in this thread:
//www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=19842
Since you're a relatively new user of DPC, we think it'd help if you spent some more time getting familiar with the website, along with voting and commenting on some more entries - this will give us an impression of your commenting/critiquing style, and let you get a feel for the various rules etc. If you're still interested, please give us a shout in a couple of week's time, and we'll consider your CC application then.
Regards,
Manic
I dont think I am good enough to give the best kind of critiques that they want!! they do an awesome job though

That's an odd reply, especially since you're not "new".... You'd be wonderful to have in the Critique Club, Juliet. Send in another request. |
