Hi All
I have a Canon 40D with the 580EXII and i have on order the Canon CP-E4 battery pack for it but i was wondering waht the best rechargeable batteries are.
I read NiMh 2800mh are the bset but cant find any decent sounding ones.
This is going to be for wedding, reception photography.
Looking at buying two CP-E4 packs as a backup |

Most recommend for most electronics is Sanyo Eneloops or Duracell pre-charge. They hold their charge longer and have more consintant voltage.
There is also Maha 2700mAh and Sanyo 2700 mAh. Haven't use either, but hear great things about them.

We've been using the Duracells for about a month and a half - they are great, really do seem to last longer than the others.

On the first link (the batteries), the seller doesn't mention the mAh rating of the batteries. They could be 1700, all the way up to 2700. I would find out before buying/bidding.

A much better deal!
the problem with 2600-2700mAh is that the full capacity only lasts for a 1hr and is about 2200mAh in a day for just sitting on the shelf or in you camera stuff.
