As this seems to be the something new challenge result thread I thought I would post this here.

I apologize for winning a ribbon with a boring, unimaginative, and unartistic shot that apparently a trained chimp could have taken. It seems it was unfair to those highly talented photographers who created pretty, imaginative, and artistic shots to suffer with low placements. I shall try my best to make sure that any similar unimaginative shots place in their apparently deserved low placement in future challenges until I try to find some talent and artistic pizzazz that some people believe only deserve to be placed within the ribbon range.

I shall not touch my camera for a week in penance.

Well at least it wasn't a portrait of someone we've seen a thousand times before. ;)

I think it's a response to one of the comments on the photo ... perhaps all exacerbated by the recent ribbon-winning finishes of several motorcycle photos in the fairly recent past, and some commentary thereon.

Thanks . . . in context,it seemed like something to that effect. Moodville certainly doesn't deserve that.
