Julius Shulman, architectural photographer, died today at age 98.

I wonder if Robert ran across him in his career.

Oh yeah, I ran across him. Early in my own career I assisted him on San Diego shoots, and I visited him in his house/studio in the LA area.

I'm sorry to hear he's gone. He was one of the greats, a slice of living history.
