There are good days and bad days on DPC. You've been interpreting the challenge in your own way and DPC has a more predictable, narrower interpretation level. Some days you've got to see how much of your interpretation and the rest of DPC matches. I think all you need to do before challenges is to see if your image can grab attention in 100+ images challenge and whether it will seem relevant to the crowd ..Basically find the perfect mix of your way of doing things and the dpc way. I adore the cat image but it isn't abstract so you've been fairly marked down because it's a dnmc. The bokeh image has no subject to speak off.. after colourful flora and fauna it's dull..
