Does anyone know if it is even possible to have a poster size print made up from a print. It is a tad bit expensive to have a 30x40 photo, so was wondering if anyone knew of any places that did this well??

Elco Color labs does 20x30 for cheap if you order two at a time, 30x40 are less then $20.00USD plus shipping. However they are done on photo paper not cheap poster paper and are fantastic in quality. they have an awesome uprezing system that hasn't been matched by anyone I have used.

You are welcome,

one word of caution if you use them. Read their directions very carefully on sizing, color space and color correction. Unless they have changed(its been 3 months since I placed my last order) they do the uprezing and print only. you send them wrong size, wrong DPI, wrong color space they don't check they upres and print. Make sure you read and prepare carefully.
