I am officially hooked on this writer.
Jack Reacher is my new hero.
Just finished his latest book, "Gone Tomorrow"
I am not what I consider a heavy reader, usually about an hour or so at a time, more if I am traveling on long flights.
I started this one at 11:00 AM on Saturday and finished by 8:00 PM
This is the 5th book of his that I've read. Haven't been disappointed yet. |

Yup, I'm a Lee Child fan, starting with the publication of his first book. I've kind of lost track of his later works in that I can't remember which ones I've read and which ones I haven't.

I absolutely love his books. Have you read any of Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp series? I love those even more. |

He's not a fast runner, but he doesn't need a watch to tell you the time(to the minute). :)
The only author of this genre that I enjoy equally well is James Lee Burke(Dave Robicheaux). |

I'm not reading them in any particular order, but I do catch the occasional reference in one book to a previous one.
In fact, I started with the 8th book in the series, The Enemy, which is a prequel and set back when he was in the military. I didn't realize until later that all the other books were set after he left the military. |

Being from New York, you'll like his latest, it is set in NYC. As was Trip Wire. |

Try his second book, Die Trying, next. That one really sticks in my mind. |

Love reading these books. Unfortunately I have to order them as the local bookstores don't carry them most of the time. |

If you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch you can download the free Kindle app and order the books electronically from Amazon. Some of the Lee Child titles are $6.50 or less.
The app is pretty sweet. |

hey folks for a little bit over the cost of shipping...I have quite a few Lee Child, Janet Evanovich (she is a screaming hoot), Patricia Cornwall (her earlier books were better), Kathy Reiche (creator of the Bones series on FOX...excellent books...), Tess Gerritsen (now she is a good author!!) and many, many more...pass them around...anyone want them...they are yours... |
