Not sure if/what all is legal for Expert editing challenges.

Couple of examples:

1) Can I clone a person and add them to the final image/digital workup? In essence the person originally in the photo could be in the final product multiple times.

2) Part of a parking lot intrudes into the image (substantially), say 15% of the photo. Can I clone grass from one area of the photo to cover up the parking lot?

Thanks.

Reading the ruleset, I see no reason why you couldn't do either of those.

He-he. I wondered if anyone would notice. :-)

And no...I'm still not a fan of expert editing challenges basically because of the end results (in most cases). However, I find myself in a position where I may need to have an entry in the MJ challenge because of a side challenge I'm participating in. But as long as I'm jumping in, I may as well do what I can, eh? :-P

So, back to the rules. It sounds like you can use pieces of whatever you've actually photographed, but not create anything new that didn't exist at least once (like the bird issue with Robert's ( bear_music) entry that time where the birds were burned in and not actually in any photo).

Leaving soon to go see some fireworks. I'll check back in later. Thanks.
