I have done many searches on this subject with several websites and version not working or not what I wanted do to my cropped sensor, I found the winner App, you have to use your blackberry, and go to the specific website //jc.tools.free.fr/en_menu_DoFCalculator_Download.html it gives you the point of focus and field of view, and hyper focus. Also a wide verity of cameras to choose from due to sensor size, even tho the 50d isnt listed I believe it is the same as the 40d....Great Program
