The last batch was the last.
Dwaynes in Kansas promises to develop it until 2010 and then that's it. My first slide film was Kodacrome 25, already long gone.

On the plus side, Paul Simon has to be rolling in the royalty money with everyone playing his song in conjunction with the new story :)

"Momma don't take my SD card away."

Doesn't quite have the same ring to it..

I still have a couple of Kodachrome 120 rolls. I shall load one up in the next week or so and run it through in honor of Kodak and one of my favorite Musical Artist of all time.

Though I shoot almost exclusively digital these days, and not much I've done has been all that fabulous, I will forever miss the colors and saturation that are Kodachrome. There is nothing else like it. And so far, there are no photoshop filters than make digital look the same.

Kodachrome film accounted for less than 1% of sales..... It was inevitable...My first camera was a kodak 110... Another end of an era.

I actually used that as my tagline for a while, or at least the one prior to it....

"I got a Nikon camera, I love to take a photograph"

Lots of things are inevitable. Death and taxes, for instance. I don't like them either.
