I was just thinking that a good challenge here would be a de ja vu on yourself.. take your worst scoring shot and revisit the concept to try and improve your score. What do you think? |

It sounds like fun (and I believe it's been suggested before). The problem is that my shot was a candid that was processed poorly. The only way I could redo it, would be to have it be a set-up shot, and then it would be easy to do it much better. I didn't have any control the first time around, so it almost seems like cheating.
Perhaps redo one of your bottom 5. Then you could pick one that you could really learn from the process. |

OMG. . .that just reminded me of my worst photo which I won't even mention for fear someone might go look at it. I may have to go for my 2nd worse shot, or like Wendy said, one of my bottom 5 because my worst one -- and its not really my lowest scoring one, but by far the one I would pay huge funds to get it removed from the site :) I would neeeeeeeeeeeeeever want to draw attention to THAT one again.
But I'd go for it -- as long as it wasn't THAT one :) I think it would have great before and after appeal.

Andy, I like the idea. Two issues to overcome: one, it might be easy to ID some of the photographers (maybe not a big deal), and two, newcomers -- or those with no bad photos (ahem), might have to seek inspiration elsewhere. |

Members only challenge??????
Not many members would have no (or few) photos that they wouldn't be able to select one of the bottom 5..........
and how many people could you ID based on one of their worst photos. One of their best, yes, but their worst???????? |

There ARE a few infamous browns, but probably not enough to make a difference. |

Jeezus, relax. I threw out a couple of possible problems. Your multiple question marks are quite unnecessary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [/visual sarcasm off] ;-) |

I was having a great day until you brought up my worst scoring photo (hangs head)..as it REALLY was terrible, lol and not sure I want to redo it. :P It was so bad it wouldn't be worth doing again, lol! |

Your lowest scoring shot has a lot of potential to be a great shot. The concept is a lizard so you would want to photograph a lizard again. I think it would be fun. |

I would be keen to try this. My lowest really was a shocker & I cringe every time I look at it. I remember I had just bought my 300D & really had no idea how to drive it at the time. It was also the first time I had to validate my entry because someone thought the colour was off.

Heh.. I wouldn't really be able to take part in this one. I love my lowest scoring entry and I don't think I could improve on it at all.
It was a very polarizing non dpc standard shot but a bunch of people got it so I was very happy but yeah, not going to 'improve' it :)

My lowest scorer is awful and any new attempt would still be awful i feel. It was just a bad idea!! lol
I do like the idea of a do over of a shot we have done, just maybe as was suggested do it to include lowest 5 to choose from? |

I'd love to redo a bad photo. My worst one could have been really awesome but I did not look close enough at the lighting and it was horrible. I'd loooove to redo it.
