Is it possible (I don't know much about code) to have members (perhaps paying members, as a perk) be able to edit the url of their profile.
For example... Mine is now //www.dpchallenge.com/profile.php?USER_ID=58457
but it would be cool if it could be something like //www.dpchallenge.com/profile/tpbremer so its easier to remember, and post in other places.
Kinda of like how flicker does it.... www.flickr.com/photos/misterbremer
eh? |

I'll be darned. See. This is why I like the Internet. Is there somewhere on the site explaining this that I missed completely? |

I remember a thread about this a few years ago but don't think you missed anything in the help areas (its a secret so don't tell anybody).
Sadly I can't get it to work with my name and not (yet) famous enough to be known simply as ecce ;) |

I believe it does not work on your name because of the space between the two names. Personally I think you are famous enough to be known simply as Andi. |

I wonder if its because you have a space in your name. |

Yup, and %20 doesn't seem to work either hence the suggestion to shorten my name ;) |

I think you could change your username to replace the space with an underscore -- it wouldn't look that different (especially in links). I think we no longer allow spaces in new usernames ... |

I like my space. I'm keeping my space. |

Only the cool people use underscores. :) |

Bah! I'd rather hyphenate than underscore. |
