I don̢۪t know if this would be possible or if site restrictions would allow it but IMO it would be a good challenge.
Here is how it would work.
1-Submit your entry as usual.
2-After three days of voting and comments you are allowed from midnight-to-midnight (on the fourth day) to resubmit your photo taking in consideration your current score and comments.
3-You must resubmit the same photograph after editing to see if your score will improve by taking advantage of comments submitted by the voters. The resubmitted photo must be submitted by midnight on the fourth day.
4-Three more days of voting and the challenge will end at its regular scheduled time.
5. The challenge will show your first 3-day score, second 3-day score, and combined score. Your combined score will be your official average.
Maybe this could be the way of the future at DPCâ€Â¦. Has anyone though of this before? Hum – Interesting!

| Sounds interesting. Not sure if the site could be made to do it, and how well it works would also depend on getting useful comments from people. Commenting seems to be on the decline recently. |

if your idea means using the same ORIGINAL but allowed to change your editing, etc, then this sounds like real fun :) and good practice to "please the customer" too.
i'm not so keen about the scoring part though - sounds like too much work for the admins.

Maybe we can do it as a side challenge, though that removes the anonymity.
If it is preferred for it to be anonymous entries, then we can do like we did for the Posthumous masters and have one person post them all in his portfolio. That's a lot more hassle, though. |
