Hello everyone,
I am new to the forums. The sharing of photography tips and ideas is great.
I am presented with a unique challenge. I have a potential opportunity for a senior portrait session, with twins (guy and girl). Now I've done twins before but in both cases it was two girls. I was just wondering if anyone could offer suggestions for their group shots. Possibly a link to some shots some of you have already taken.
Not sure if it will matter in this regard but she is a cheerleader and he is a baseball player. I have met the young lady and she is the typical high school cheerleader, pretty, nice figure, bubbly personality, etc. This is all that I know about them at this time.
The first session will be outdoors at a local park. I expect to have a full shoot with both, separately, but I have very few ideas for the group shots:
standing, arms crossed back to back
seated, arms crossed back to back.
him in the foreground, her in the background
her in the foreground, him in the background
Sadly, that's about all I can come up with. I'm sure that once on location more ideas will come to mind (they always do) but in this case I'm worried that if I don't get them working together well, right away, it will be a flop.
It's easy when it's twin girls, they don't mind hugging and being close to each other, but there is a guy in this set. He is an athlete and I'm doubting that he will be up for the hugging business.
Need more ideas, please help..
