Team Suck is proud to present NikonJeb, who completed his interview packet in record time to help keep the FU feature on track!

quiet_observation asks:
You packed your suitcases last night; were are you headed today?

That's an easy one.....back to Copán Ruinas, Honduras. The people there were the most warm, kind, and pure that I have met anywhere. I fell completely in love with them. Had I not had my wife and daughter here, I would not have come back.

If the suck league visits that vast land between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, what are the "must" see photographic sites? And equally important, where do we eat?
The rivers, creeks, & streams.....with all the bridges and strange buildings that take advantage of them.

You eat in the little Mom & Pop places that people envision when you hear about Americana. They're all around, though you sometimes have to ask around to get the best recommendation. You'll find so many "made from scratch" delights that you're unlikely to find anywhere else.....homemade noodles, sausages & scrapple, apple butter, birch beer, and casseroles that the cooks will take the recipe to their grave......And the baked goods!!!

If a genie grants you three wishes, what would these be?
A better eye....I want to be able to see the pathos of life like grigrigirl & goodman, the humor like timfythetoo & scalvert, and the fascination & beauty like roz & SandyP.

A D300......yeah, I know everybody wants full frame, but I don't.....and the D300 is the best crop sensor camera I could possibly want.

A month a year in a different place in the world to live through the lens of my camera. I took 3000 pictures in the week I was in Honduras.....I wish I would have had at least another week to have gotten to know the place better.

vawendy asks:
Where's the best photography spot in Pennsylvania?

That's easy.....right here where I live! I have the beauty of our Capitol and all the accompanying architecture & history, the Susquehanna & its seven bridges all different & beautiful, the quiet beauty of the farmland surrounding Harrisburg, and the great beauty in the little things.

cosprenks asks:
Which do you enjoy more taking pictures of people or landscapes and why?

Semi-random people shots. The faces tell such stories! When you catch those expressions that you cannot set up, it's a unique moment preserved forever and never to be duplicated. I love landscapes, but they're not fleeting like a good candid.

I see you are very vocal on the forums, have you ever considered writing a book or going into public speaking, or just getting a soap box and standing on the corner to talk to people?
Oh, I have so much hope, I care so much about the future of our society, and I truly believe in the goodness of mankind......but really and truly, I'm probably more just a loud guy in a small room.

snaffles asks:
Why Nikon for brand of photography equipment?

I had a pair of Canon A-1s, loved 'em! Magnificent camera! I did all the homework for the morph to digital, read the reviews, drove people nuts with stupid questions, narrowed it down to the EOS-300D or the D70s.....

The damn EOS-300D didn't fit in my hand, the D70s was like it was made for me.

What is the best thing and the worst thing about living in your part of the country?
I love the 360° of seasons and the weather. I love having the full four season change and the special things each one brings.

The worst? Even though they're beautiful, the freakin' ice storms we've had the last couple of winters have been staggering in their destruction and the general aggravation & misery they've caused.

The one thing that always comes shining through about you Jeb is your passion - you're passionate about everything you do! You could work for your area's chamber of commerce or tourism board. And that passion is what makes you "vocal on the forums". Good on ya, mate!
