Has anyone used DCE Tools from MediaChance? I just 'got' this plugin and it's fantastic for the few things I am using it for. It has a Portrait Skin Cleaner (which also enhances the skin tones) and a hot pixel remover that doesn't (or does if you wish) use a black frame remover (should be dpc legal, non? It's noise remover like NI). There's an exposure compensation fix, an auto-correct everything, and a white balance fix (great for those "oh crap I shot a whole wedding in another WB!) moments.
If anyone wants ... um, more info ... give me a shout or go search this plugin out. It truly is cool! :)
(My need is the hot pixel fix. When you run NI with any sharpening, the hot pixels and the noisiest ones always sharpen and show up worse. Hot pixel remover is a one step fix without using blur).

DCEnhance was what I used to use before neatimage. it was really easy, though i haven't used the PS plug-in yet. Clean Skin was a separate program but it made people look really plasticky.
I'd be interested in learning more...

(plus this way I can remember the link when I go to my home computer lol)

Hot pixel removal without use of a black frame is OK, for certain, however I'm almost as certain that anything relying on a black frame is not OK, even for advanced editing. You are combining more than one image.
Makes no sense, I know, but them's the rules.
