Meantime pior to this the box with dics reg numbers and all that you need to reinstall some how along with a lot of othere things has gone walk about.I am using paint.net a freeby to work with my photos..but to rezie for shallenges I have to resize to 160pixl on the shorter edge to get a 150kb image leaving me with an image of239 x 160px which is way too small for viewing. any ideas on how I can get a bigger image. Being retired now I am unable to afford another copy of photoshop thanks nick

Go back to Photoshop for free...sort of. I've heard that a lot of people are happy with Gimp software. Apparently it is extremely similar to Photoshop and you can download it for free.

Do a search for it and see what you find.

you might also want to try this:
pixlr.com
does all basic adjustment that photoshop does and also provides downsizing and saving for web.

Actually, I use Paintshop Pro as my primary editing app, but I like to keep an eye on the freeware.

If you registered your PS software you may be able to contact Adobe and verify your identity and get yourself back into business.
