I have a wad of newspaper articles about my work that I have kept over the years. I want to display them into a portfolio like folder, but as they are deteriorating over time, I want to know what is the best way to archive them. I thought of laminating them and putting them into a folder but wondered if anyone knows of a more appealing method?
I have them scanned on my computers but the original pages need something done with them.
Any ideas?

There are methods of conserving paper like that -- it mainly involves removing the acid content. Try calling a university librarian for advice. Someplace I have a book on book conservation/preservation -- I can look for it tomorrow.
I have seen hints on doing this published in the past, but I wouldn't rely on any particular method without the advice of a pro, if these are really important. |

Thanks General. This will be an ongoing collection so I will want to add to the portfolio.
