It's nice how DPC dictates the activities I do in my spare time :) |

You have animals around right? It won't be the first time an entry has been submitted that didn't adhere to the description. I need to go to the Zoo because I don't think a domestic cat will fool many viewers, a kangaroo would on the other hand. |

Sweet! An excuse to go to the San Diego zoo to check out the new seven acre elephant exhibit which just opened. Now if we could just get the sun to come out from behind the marine layer of clouds...

We have no zoo on the island. There's one near Vancouver but 6 hours travel time and $136 for just ferry and zoo admission's a weeeeeeee bit much for a challenge, no? Ah well, not the end of the world, just a challenge I'd love to shoot for. |

Just shoot some 'real' wildlife and shoehorn it into the zoo challenge! :) Just try to capture a little cement behind yoru subject. |

Lol, that would be an ironic twist on the usual zoo "wildlife" shots, alright.
eta; too bad it's the wrong time of the year for the bears to be wandering in.

I may have to try and give this a go - we aren't exactly inundated with zoos in the North-East of England. There is one, attached to a theme park, within an hour's drive, but it is £28 for entry and, from what I have heard, is a miserable place. |

The zoo or the north east :P
why dont you take the A1 and pop down to see us happy southerners? Lucky me, I have a choice of 3 within a 2 hour drive |

There is a zoo just up the road... but it's not one that I would really want to °promote°.
Hey, keegbow, was that Western Plains Zoo?

Wow! I've never seen a seven acre elephant before. That sure is a megajumbo sized pachyderm! ;-Þ

I promote my zoo in as many challenges as I can get away with. LOL! I'll have to make a solo trip while my son's in school this week because we have cub scout stuff scheduled for the whole upcoming weekend. |

Well, no zoo here and no exotic animals either. No, I'm not whining about not being able to enter the challenge, just stating a fact. |

Humans are animals, right? And your local shopping mall or Walmart is ALWAYS a zoo, so..... :) |
