| I'm looking for basic, but decent, video editing softwware that can handle AVCHD. I see Adobe Premiere Elements fits the bill. Is there some sort of bundle/upgrade pathway I should be familiar with from CS2 before I go out and buy APE as a standalone? |

I'll be interested to see what you find out as I have an old......damaged.... copy of CS2, and I am thinking about going with Elements 7 as it seems to be able to give me all of what I use now in CS2.

So I think the bottom line is there is no link between Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere. I ordered Premiere Elements 7 from NewEgg for $89.
I think the HD camcorder has triggered a chain of money-spending events...
I also needed to upgrade the computer so I got a new motherboard and CPU as well.
The final step will be to buy a Blu-Ray DVD player so I can watch archived stuff on the TV and not the computer.
It never ends. :P |
