***My problem is fixed!! Thanks so much yall are life savers!

Hi!

I am currently updating my website to allow for larger images, and I am really happy with how it turned out. I have this crazy problem though, and I was wondering if there are any tech geniuses that might be able to shed some light on it.

Here is the location for my test run of the new site: //mcadams.info/clairemcadams/home.html

When the site is run on Safari there are no flukes that I know of. However, in firefox and internet explorer the "bio" page and "testimonial" page have a big fluke. The links on the right of the screen have bright blue/purple borders around them for no reason. I have tried over and over simply pulling code from my "pricing" page and inserting the right text and images for the bio and testimonial pages and the problem still happens. I am miffed! I have no idea why the problem would only occur on those 2 pages even when there is nothing different at all in the html code.

Does this problem occur on your computer? If anyone has an insight as to the source of the silly borders I would love to hear it!

Thanks
Claire

Thanks! My code is ridiculously messy because I am not very good at it yet but if you can make anything of it let me know.

It looks like you have your bio page and your testimonials page in different directories on your site. Please correct me if I am wrong. However, I wonder, if for some reason, the random change in directories is the cause of this. I have only looked at these two pages, but this is the first thing that caught my eye. Have you tried putting everthing in the same directory?

OH ok! The bold is a different type of ping file with a bigger square next to the word, so that you can tell what page your on. It is just a reference to a different image file. :( I don't think that would be the cause of the problem since that is something every page has. hmmm

Is it? Okay, like I said, I only looked at two pages. Didnt make sense to me, but that is the only place your code looks different... Ill take a good look at this soon again.

Thanks! It literally should be the only place the code is different, which is why this is so confusing to me. Sigh.

it's not picking up the external stylesheet so it is putting the default link colors around the image links...
