Howdie,

Anyone know of any good places for sensor cleaning in Northern VA, MD, DC (preferably northern VA). And also generally how much do they cost? And are results guaranteed at all?

Thanks,

You know this is a DIY task, right? Or is there some major gunk on your sensor?

No, it's not guaranteed.

Sensors need to be cleaned on a regular basis. Once or twice a month is not uncommon if you use your equipment often. You should really get comfortable with atleast doing a rocket blower cleaning every chance you get and maybe once a year or so do a professional cleaning. If you depend on professional cleaning for every dust spec, you will spend a fortune unecessarily. A few minutes with google will help you learn to keep your sensor clean on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and save you tons of time and money.

As for labs in your area for pro cleaning, I can only suggest google. sorry.
